Cognitive-communication disorders are problems with communication that have an underlying cause in a cognitive deficit. Common causes of cognitive communication deficits include but are not limited to:
-Brain tumors
-Stroke
-Traumatic brain injury (TBI)
-Alzheimer’s disease
